In this meeting, ICCCM introduced itself and explained its profile and activities carried out in the last seven years. The two parties then discussed potential cooperation, such as joint degrees, double degrees, international competitions, scholarships, and matters related to curriculum, costs, and technical implementation of lecture classes in the programs proposed by both parties.

Both USU and ICCCM agreed to draft a memorandum of understanding (MoU) by conducting a review as a first step towards broader cooperation. Furthermore, they will explore more opportunities for cooperation, including involving other study programs from USU in cooperation programs with ICCCM.

USU Vice Rector III told in this meeting, “We are very enthusiastic to establish close cooperation with ICCCM. We believe that this collaboration will provide great benefits for both institutions and also for our students. We are committed to expanding this cooperation through concrete steps we will discuss together.”

The ongoing meeting between Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) and the International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM) marks a promising first step towards close cooperation in education and culture. With a collaborative spirit and determination to make a positive impact, both parties hope to implement this cooperation plan successfully. We can look forward to the glorious achievements resulting from the synergy between USU and ICCCM.
